Course Overview
The Occupational Health and Safety Fundamentals course is designed to provide participants with a
comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of OHS regulatory principles and practices across industries. Over
10 weeks, participants will explore key aspects of occupational health and safety regulations and management
systems, including hazard identification, risk assessment, incident investigation, workplace ergonomics, emergency
response, and performance measurement. The course will emphasize the development of practical skills, such as
recognizing workplace hazards, implementing control measures, and fostering a proactive safety culture. Through a
combination of lectures, interactive discussions, and case studies, participants will gain the knowledge and
